In celebration of Pride Month, Heaven Spot Singapore is holding a one day event on 20 June 2021 that will be free for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.
A first of its kind in Singapore, Heaven Spot is a community driven space that offers patrons the opportunity to unleash their creative juices through the art of graffiti painting.
On a normal day, a typical session for 2 at this graffiti painting space costs SGD $78 (see packages here). But the folks at Heaven Spot are making an exception for the LGBTQ+ community on 20 June 2021 in commemoration of Pride Month.
“In the spirit of inclusivity, positivity and solidarity – Heaven Spot invites our LGBTQ+ friends and allies to come in and spray a collective piece of graffiti for free on 20 June 2021.
Wreck our walls with a message or symbol to express your love and support for the LGBTQ+ community”
The resulting photos from the event will then be published on Heaven Spot to show their solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
How To Register For This Event
In line with current covid-19 restrictions, interested parties can register in groups of up to 5. The venue can accommodate up to 10 people at once, and the team will ensure that different groups are appropriately socially distanced at all times.
There are a total of 6 sessions up for grabs on event day, and each group can have a maximum of up to 5 members.
Event attendees will be given free paint (worth a couple of hundred dollars), and ample space to create their messages of love and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
This Pride Month event will run from 10am to 9pm, and interested parties can sign up for their preferred slot via the link below. But note that signs up run on a first-come-first-serve basis, so quickly round up your friend(s) before slots run out!

Show Your Support For Heaven Spot
Another point to note is that Heaven Spot will actually be closing bookings for paid sessions on the event day. This means that all slots on 20 June 2021 are strictly reserved for those who believe in the freedom to love.
So not only will Heaven Spot incur heavy costs from running this event, they also won’t be making any money on the day itself.
There aren’t many companies in Singapore who are willing to go to such an extent to support the LGBTQ+ community. So do show your support for Heaven Spot by showing up for them (not just on event day) because Singapore can certainly do with more safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
