The Cast
Bodjie Pascua as Eddie
At the heart of ‘Write Here’ is Bodjie Pascua, an accomplished actor whose career spans over 50 years. Graduating with a BFA in Drama from New York University in 1978, Pascua has enjoyed an illustrious career in showbiz.

During the 1990s, Bodjie endeared himself to children as the vibrant and cheerful “Kuya Bodjie” in the beloved children’s show Batibot. Fast forward to 2019, Bodjie garnered acclaim for his portrayal of ‘Sal’ in the film “Pan de Salawal,” earning him the Best Actor award at the Gawad Tanglaw Awards.
In ‘Write Here’, Bodjie shows off his range as he takes on the challenging role of Eddie, an aging gay man grappling with Alzheimer’s.
Rolando Inocencio as Bernie
Playing Eddie’s partner, Bernie, is Rolando Inocencio, a character actor with a diverse portfolio in film, TV, and advertisements.
With a background in theater that dates back to the 1980s, Inocencio brings depth and authenticity to his performances. His notable credits, including projects on Netflix like “Bagman” and “Birdshot,” showcase his versatility as an actor.

In ‘Write Here,’ Inocencio’s portrayal of Bernie adds a layer of emotional complexity to the narrative, contributing to the film’s overall impact.
The Filmmaker
Jake Muñoz Consing – Writer, Director, and Producer
At just 22 years old, Jake Muñoz Consing emerges as a promising Filipino filmmaker with a passion for storytelling.
An alumnus of the Ricky Lee Screenwriting Workshop and a Summa Cum Laude Communication graduate from the Ateneo De Manila University, Consing is already making waves in the industry. As the co-founder of Seiga Productions, Jake focuses on films exploring the queer experience, family dynamics, mental health, and social issues.

Consing’s list of accomplishments includes the Iris Prize competition in the UK, the Official Selections at BFI Flare and the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, and a Best Short Film nomination at the 70th FAMAS Awards. His previous works, such as ‘Lingkis’ and ‘Dildo,’ showcase his versatility and ability to tackle diverse themes with finesse. Currently developing the script for his next short film, ‘The Blind Man at the End of the World,’ Consing has already earned the Mentorship Award at the Drama International Short Film Festival in Greece.

‘Write Here’ is a film dedicated to Jake’s grandfather, who passed away after battling Alzheimer’s.
As the creator of “Write Here,” I wish for the film to be more than just a cinematic piece, but furthermore, to be a catalyst for conversations. Navigating Eddie’s memories, we’re prompted to confront our own pasts, question our present, and ponder the fragility of the human experience.
