In a bid to foster solidarity and bolster support among the LGBTQ+ entrepreneurial community, a new initiative called Huddle has emerged.
What Sets HUDDLE Apart
LGBT business networks in Singapore are nothing new. However, their focus has often been to foster diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with an emphasis on catering to straight allies.
Breaking away from traditional LGBT business networks, Huddle aims to create a safe space and network that prioritises practical support for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and freelancers. Glenn, the visionary behind Huddle, expressed his motivation for founding the initiative.
Being an entrepreneur can be a lonely and challenging journey.
While I had other founder friends, I craved for a safe space where my identities as a gay man and entrepreneur are wholly accepted and the norm. I guess on a more personal level it’s a way for me to be more comfortable in my own skin.

Mark Your Calendars For 25 April
Previously operating as an invite-only group, Huddle is now gearing up to make its public debut.
The initiative will kick off with its inaugural event scheduled for April 25 at Slippery Slope. Welcoming all LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and freelancers, the event promises an evening of networking from 6pm to 7.30 pm, with opportunities for guests to continue socialising beyond the official program’s end time.
Attendees need not worry about feeling out of place, as the event will feature icebreakers and structured activities designed to facilitate connections. Guests will also enjoy 15% off their drink order from 6pm to 8pm.
