The year is 2021. As the economy grappled with the challenges of a relentless pandemic, one name emerged from the shadows to capture our collective imagination – Titus Low.

As Singapore’s most popular male OnlyFans creator, Titus Low was reportedly earning over USD $30,000 a month. His lavish lifestyle soon became tabloid fodder. His luxurious condominium commanded a princely $9,000 a month. He splurged $14,500 on his pets. In just a matter of months, the bisexual 21-year old was living the life of the rich and famous.

Yet, like many tales of meteoric rises, Titus Low’s journey took a sharp turn. The headlines that once celebrated his opulent lifestyle would morph into reports of his fall from grace. Singapore would go on to infamously jail Titus for 3 weeks.

But the impact had already been made. The allure of OnlyFans as a shortcut to fame and fortune had been firmly etched into the collective consciousness.

Fast forward to 2023 however, and it seems like the OnlyFans bubble has finally burst.

Don’t get me wrong. As a company, OnlyFans is doing better than ever. The platform’s elusive owner recently received a whopping $338 million payout.

The same however, can’t be said for its creators. With the pandemic becoming a distant memory, people are no longer cooped up at home. Coupled with an oversaturated market, it’s little wonder why earnings have dipped considerably for many OnlyFans creators.
